What a sound healing session is like
You lie or sit comfortably while sustained tones are played around you from singing bowls and similar instruments. There is nothing to do and nothing to concentrate on. Most people describe it as a state between rest and sleep, and sessions are commonly taken simply for that deep rest.
Relaxation and stress relief
The most common reason people book a session is a stretch of poor rest or a period where they have not been able to switch off. Sound is used here purely as a means of relaxation and general wellbeing. It is not a medical treatment and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified doctor.
